Holy Moly Internet. If I were a parent and you a child,
mama would be in the big house for all this neglect.
Things have been kinda quiet for me lately though, and busy too.
So please accept my apology beloved reader, I do really really love you.

What can I tell you then, of my time away from you? I read the Twilight series.
Good reads, didn’t love the second book, but by the fourth I didn’t want them to end.
I have worked endlessly on a project for my actual real job that pays me money.
My Tween and The Little Woman are both back in school,
and with that comes all of the other little intricacies that eat up the day.
Homework. Making lunches. Obsessing over wardrobe options
and fighting over clothes. Band practice, flute procurement,
do we or do we not play soccer?

Is it wrong of me to wish it was still summer, 
when our only worry was when will we go swimming?
or, how many apricots will we pick today? I don’t think so.

Life gets complicated. And in light of that fact, I may neglect you sometimes.

I do though still love you.
So much, that I leave you with some strange beauty….
